Today’s lab assignment in Small Format class was to shoot a self-portrait. The parameters were pretty loose – we were only required to show our face. I could have done something elaborate, but I feel like I often enjoy the simple things in life. To show this, I kept the image simple. I went into the studio, set up my camera on a tripod, and used just one light. To keep with the theme of simplicity, I used a prime 50mm f/1.8 lens.
